Happy Fall Y’all! Things are ramping up for a BIG push in October! We’ve got a ton of events lined up and couldn’t be more pleased finishing up 2024 with all of you. Last month, we had to postpone LA Pipeliners due to weather, but we’ve got them down for Monday, November 11. We had another Shooting Clinic with Dan Carlisle & Steve Liberta and as always, they provided their students with tons of information and lots of things to work on. We haven’t gotten them on the schedule yet for 2025, but be patient, as it’s in the works! Acadia Parish 4H has started their shooting season, and we’re happy to have them 1 Sunday per month through the end of the year. The 4H shooting sports program is an invaluable organization for our youth shooters. They are the future of our sport and we’re happy to host both Acadia and Lafayette 4h. We had our monthly NSCA shoot “Teal Time” and ended up with almost 70 shooters! Chops Specialty Meats in Broussard, once again, did a BANG up job with lunch. Shooters skills & mental games were tested and lots of laughs were had. We hosted the L.O.S.T monthly competition this past month and they had a fantastic turn out. For lunch they served sausage poboys and after the shoot, many people hung out and enjoyed some adult beverages with their friends. Another awesome shoot that you hopefully didn’t miss this year was L.A.G.C.O.E “Clays Classic.” For their first year with us, they did a fantastic job of getting sponsors and teams. They had tons of good food- but the Fried Fish was probably the hit…but the stuffed, bacon wrapped chicken thighs were a close 2nd. Excellent shoot put on by some excellent people! 160 shooters, on 2 flights came out for the beautiful day. Y’all watch out for their 2025 shoot date, it’s bound to be larger than this year. And, on to October! We’ve got a fullll schedule and can’t wait to see you all. Don’t hesitate to reach out if we can help in any way.
